Thrift Books Names Rick Martinez as Vice President of Operations
Seattle, Washington (PRWEB) March 06, 2014 -- Online used book seller Thrift Books LLC announces the hire of Rick Martinez to serve as Vice President of Operations, effective March 3, 2014. He is the first person to hold this position in the 10-year history of the company. He will report to the president of Thrift Books, Mike Ward.
Martinez is a seasoned manager of distribution, logistics, and service organizations. He spent the last 14 years with Seattle-based apparel company Cutter & Buck, most recently as Vice President of Operations and Customer Service. Prior to this he held management positions with small package carrier RPS, and Fritz Companies, a third party logistics provider.
“Rick will be an outstanding addition to our executive team,” said Ward. “His deep experience and operational leadership will be key as we continue the growth of our network of fulfillment centers. Our aim is to even better serve our customers with timely shipments and broad selection.”
