Netchemia Adds Marketo CMO Sanjay Dholakia to Board of Directors

Dholakia, Chief Marketing Officer of Marketo, Inc. (NASDAQ: MKTO), will provide his expertise and more than 20 years of experience in software-as-a-service (SaaS) product leadership, business development and marketing strategy to support Netchemia’s growth as the Kansas City-area company continues to enhance and expand its product offerings for K-12 education.
As CMO at San Mateo, Calif.-based Marketo, which provides the leading cloud-based marketing software platform to more than 3,000 companies of all sizes worldwide, Dholakia is responsible for extending the company’s market leadership, driving demand for its innovative solutions, developing new business segments, and expanding its partner ecosystem to increase the Marketo’s reach.
Before joining Marketo, Dholakia was CEO of social marketing application provider Crowd Factory. A software veteran, Dholakia was also CMO at Lithium Technologies and Senior Vice President and General Manager for SumTotal Systems, Inc. Dholakia holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
