BioConvergence® CEO Shares Key Objective at Life Sciences Lecture
Bloomington, IN (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- Alisa Wright, founder and CEO of BioConvergence, contributed to the February panel discussion for the Life Sciences Lunch Series in Indianapolis. The discussion, entitled “Voices of Influence – Leading Women in Life Sciences,” yielded commentary on a variety of industry and organizational topics, including specific company objectives.
“[BioConvergence wants] to change the way drug development is done to get medicines to patients faster, because there are patients who are waiting,” related Wright.
Wright notes that this objective, which laid the foundation for her organization, began as a “dream,” and became much more after she received this relevant, timely career advice from one of her top mentors:
“If you have that dream, then go after it because it is going to take some time to build a dream worth building. Know what your dreams are and go after them. Today is the day to do it.”
Wright discussed her career experiences and insights alongside Jean Scallon, CEO of Bloomington Meadows Hospital and Terri Pascarelli, Vice President, Client Development of YourEncore, Inc. during the hour-long industry event.
