Listers Voted Top UK Retailer at Volkswagen Awards
Worcestershire (PRWEB UK) 7 March 2014 -- Listers has been awarded the accolade of UK’s number one retailer at Volkswagen's national 2014 One Business Awards at the car maker’s annual conference in Miami. The Evesham location was rewarded for their all-round performance in regards to retail sales, commitment to quality and a high-level of customer service as ranked by Volkswagen’s very own scorecard system.
Listers beat off competition from over two hundred retailers across the length and breadth of the UK for the accolade; bettering their top ten finish from the previous year. It comes in a year of upheaval for the Evesham branch, which makes the achievement even more impressive. Over the course of the year the team has been working out of a temporary structure as they finalise a refurbishment of the location to meet the German car maker’s revised standards and become an official Volkswagen Retail Concept venue.
David Westwood, Brand Manager of Listers Volkswagen Evesham, admitted that he was “delighted” with the award, but pointed to the impressive work ethic and tight-knit nature of the team as the grounds for the success, saying: “We have a fantastic team here who base their priorities on working tirelessly to ensure that every single customer benefits from a great experience every time.
When we made it into the top ten last year it was a great achievement, but we sat down and decided that we could make that extra push to take the top prize. I’m extremely pleased that our efforts have paid off,” he continued.
