Following the delivery of a successful training session on the legal aid changes at the Turkish Cypriot Women’s Project from Duncan Lewis Solicitors’ Emine Mehmet and Hanife Djemal, Duncan Lewis Solicitors have now been requested to deliver a regular fortnightly legal advice surgery at the TCWP.

The Legal 500 recommended firm, who have a record of providing pro bono and community work, began the legal advice surgery on the 18th February 2014 with the delivery of advice on Family and Housing Law matters.

The turnout for the legal surgery was large and Duncan Lewis Solicitors assisted a number of vulnerable clients.

Duncan Lewis Solicitors say that they look forward to delivering more legal surgeries and helping even more vulnerable clients with their continued work with the TCWP.
