Cherwell Software Announces New Key Executive Roles
Colorado Springs, Colo. (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- Cherwell Software™, maker of award-winning service desk software Cherwell Service Management®, today announced three new executive leadership appointments. Chris Bender and Simon Kent have been promoted to vice president of worldwide finance and operations and vice president of worldwide customer experience, respectively. Cherwell Software co-founder Timothy Pfeifer has returned to the company as executive vice president and general counsel.
The new positions signal the rapid growth Cherwell Software has made in recent years and reflect the company’s commitment to develop a strong management team. Bender, Kent and Pfeifer, selected for their significant contributions to the company and their ability to think strategically on a global scale, will play an important role in leading Cherwell Software in its international growth initiatives.
The executives hold the following titles and responsibilities:
Chris Bender, Vice President of Worldwide Finance and Operations: Previously director of finance and operations, Bender will take on a role that includes global responsibility for accounting, information technology, analysis and reporting, and corporate and remote office operations at Cherwell Software.
Simon Kent, Vice President of Worldwide Customer Experience: Previously the head of customer experience in EMEA, Kent is now responsible for customer experiences globally and will drive customer satisfaction and customer retention efforts as demand for Cherwell Service Management skyrockets. Kent will be splitting his time between the Colorado Springs, Colo. and U.K. offices.
Timothy Pfeifer, Executive Vice President and General Counsel: A Cherwell Software co-founder and board member, Pfeifer has returned to the company full time. Pfeifer has overall responsibility for the legal, HR and business development areas.
