Shazzy Fitness Launches a 7-Day Fitness Challenge: Move, Groove, Amen
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- Faith-based dance fitness sensation, Shazzy Fitness today launched its highly anticipated 7-Day Fitness Challenge: Move, Groove, Amen. The Shazzy Fitness Challenge intentionally coincides with the first day of Lent – a season historically observed by many Christians that marks a period of spiritual reflection and renewal.
Shazzy Fitness CEO, Kristy McCarley, says, “We are incredibly blessed by the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received about the Move, Groove, Amen challenge. We’ve had people from all over the country sign up and tell us how they just can’t wait to get started.”

The goal of the challenge is to promote the health benefits of as little as 10 minutes of dance each day. “Ten minutes is always better than zero minutes,” says choreographer Vera Musgrove, star of the dance fitness DVD “Shazzy Fitness: In the Beginning.”
Shazzy Fitness is a hip-hop dance fitness video series that fuses modern dance with Christian hip-hop music. Participants agree to try at least one Shazzy Fitness dance workout each day during the challenge.
Additionally, Shazzy Fitness choreographers, Apollo Levine and Vera Musgrove, will provide daily tips and words of encouragement via the Shazzy Fitness blog, e-newsletter and the Shazzy Fitness YouTube channel. Anyone can sign up for the challenge but must have the Shazzy Fitness exercise videos in order to follow the group exercise schedule. Apollo Levine, choreographer and star of the DVD “Shazzy Fitness: A Time to Dance” encourages challenge members with these words “Don’t worry about trying to be perfect - just do you and have fun with it.”
Shazzy Fitness strongly recommends that participants consult a physician before beginning any exercise program (especially for those over age 35), to go at their own pace and to stop immediately at the first sign of any physical discomfort. Participants should be in good physical condition and able to participate in exercise activities.
