A+ Images, Inc. is Now Officially Licensed to Use "Karen's Kids"
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) March 07, 2014 -- Today, A+ Images, Inc., a garment decorating company specializing in shirts for teachers, school staff, and student spirit wear, announced a partnership with Karen’s Kids to be the exclusive provider of apparel decorated with Karen’s Kids artwork worldwide.
For over 20 years, Karen’s Kids has provided clip art, educational products, and free activities for teachers, homeschools, child care givers, churches, and everyone who works with, and cares for, kids. Karen’s Kids stand for ‘…sharing, caring and working together, helping to make the world a better place...’ Karen’s Kids clip art, educational products, and free activities convey and model what they believe kids should learn: to tell the truth, say thank you, share, and be respectful and courageous.
Of the recent licensing agreement, A+ Images President Bob Straka said, “Obtaining the rights to use Karen’s Kids in our school/teacher themed apparel is a major plus for us. Karen’s Kids are the finest drawings of children I have ever seen. In over 20 years, A+ Images, Inc has never been able to offer kids on our teacher shirts as cute and detailed as those from Karen’s Kids. With our new direct to garment printing we will be able to offer our customers these great looking children in full color designs on any color shirt. I think our customers will love this!”
A+ Images will offer Karen’s Kids apparel, combined with their timeless teaching slogans, directly to consumers at http://www.teachershirts.com/karens-kids/. Fundraising opportunities will also be available for schools, churches, or any other group or organization that works with children. These groups will be able to add their school/program name to a wide variety of Karen’s Kids drawings.
About A+ Images, Inc.: A+ Images, Inc. is owned by Bob and Chris Straka. Business began in 1988 selling classroom furniture and manipulatives to early childhood programs in the Midwest. Garments for teachers were added in late 1989. By 1993, only teacher apparel was offered.
A+ Images has exhibited at hundreds educational conferences all over the country and at military bases in Europe. As the economy began to decline in 2008, teacher attendance at these conferences did as well. Product line expansions took place and RhinestoneWineDesigns.com was created for wholesale and retail wine apparel markets. A+ Images also became licensed by Kiwanis International in 2009, and debuted MyClubShirts.com in 2011.
In another attempt to offer better products to our customers, single head embroidery machines and Kornit direct-to-garment printers were introduced to offer more options to the existing screen printing and rhinestone design business. As a result, A+ Images became a full service apparel decorating business from Indianapolis, IN to places as far away as Australia and Europe.
About Karen’s Kids: Karen first began drawing kids to decorate her classrooms. The kids were officially “born” in 1987 when she created three clip art sets. Since then, thousands of images, products and 3 children’s picture books have been created. These amusing little characters have continued to grow in popularity. They stand for helping and serving and taking care of each other. Today Karen devotes her time to illustrating and creating new ideas and working on projects that support a creative, safe and character-building environment for children.
