Career Partners International Elects New Board Leadership and Members

Sharon Imperiale, President of Career Concepts Inc./Career Partners International – Philadelphia, was elected to serve as the new Chair of the Board, with Elaine Varelas, a Managing Partner of Keystone Partners/Career Partners International – Boston, serving as the Chair Emeritus and Geoff Officer, Managing Director and CEO of The Donington Group/Career Partners International – Australia, serving as the Vice Chair. A warm welcome to the board was also given to Terry Gillis of Carswell Partners/Career Partners International – London, Ontario.
Having served on the board since 2009, Imperiale previously held the role of Vice President of Finance for Career Partners International. Imperiale also uses her experience in organizational effectiveness, change management and career transition to ensure that Career Partners International continues to be the leader in the talent management and career transition industry. Prior to her leadership of Career Concepts Inc./Career Partners International – Philadelphia, Imperiale held executive positions with Aetna and Prudential Financial where she led the human resource, organizational development and training efforts as well as the start-up and integration of large customer service operations.

Officer, a member of the board since 2013, has led the Asia-Pacific Region for Career Partners International. As an internationally experienced HR executive and a pioneer in the industry, Officer’s expertise in executive coaching, organizational and leadership development, change management and culture change has positioned him as an expert in major employment change events in Australia and New Zealand.
Previously serving as the Region Leader for Canada for Career Partners International, Gillis possesses vast industry knowledge and tremendous experience in both the public and private sectors. Serving as a professional coach to many senior corporate officers, Gillis is proficient in the delivery of quality best practices that pertain to key employee assessments, retention, development and transition.
