PrincetonOne, a total recruitment services provider based in Skillman, N.J., recently took part in the JobMobile Philadelphia event hosted by TheLadders. Philadelphia-based Managing Partner Ed Mamrak was selected to be a panelist for the event’s two-hour discussion covering mobile recruiting and social media's impact on recruiting.
The JobMobile Philadelphia event gave corporate talent acquisition professionals the opportunity to interact with some of the recruitment industry's thought leaders on the impact of mobile recruiting. Topics discussed included using smart phone applications, such as TheLadders, Skype, FaceTime, LinkedIn and other social media channels, to connect with passive candidates.
“There is an absolute need for tools that provide mobile access to candidates,” Mamrak commented. “It’s becoming more and more difficult to connect with true ‘A-players’ during normal business hours, as they are all active getting things done for their companies. We, as recruitment professionals, must have mobile access to our candidates, via text, email or internet media platforms, morning, evening and night. Access to mobile tools allows us the ability to connect whenever and wherever.”
