Awards were given to those technologies that are delivering something truly unique, game-changing and revolutionary and are most likely to impact the GRC space over the next year

Lafayette, CA (PRWEB) March 06, 2014

Unified Compliance, the premier provider of IT compliance mapping, today announced that the Unified Compliance Framework® (UCF) has been honored with a 2014 GRC Technology Innovation Award by independent GRC analyst firm, GRC 20/20.

The third annual GRC Technology Innovation Awards recognize technologies that are revolutionizing the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) market. After being carefully evaluated for their innovation, fifteen technologies were selected from 62 applicants. The award recipients will be featured on the GRC 20/20 blog at: http://www.grc2020.com/index.php/grc-pundit-blog.

Over the years GRC technology has changed and evolved. The GRC Technology Innovation Awards process for 2014 recognizes this evolution and represented the most competitive pool of applicants to date. GRC 20/20 closely evaluated all of the written nominations and selected 15 recipients to receive this honor. Some of these recognitions go to established solution providers; others go to up-and-comers. Some have mature offerings; others are still being polished — but all are advancing GRC into new areas. The current award recipients all show thought leadership that takes GRC in new directions.

“Unified Compliance has demonstrated innovation in GRC with its Unified Compliance Framework,” said Michael Rasmussen, Chief GRC Pundit for GRC 20/20 and internationally recognized expert. “There were many deserving applicants and I am excited to see this overall level of innovation driving the industry forward. The awards were given to those technologies that are delivering something truly unique, game changing and revolutionary and are most likely to impact the GRC space over the next year.”

“We are pleased that GRC 20/20 recognized the unique capabilities of the Unified Compliance Framework,” said Dorian Cougias, co-founder of the UCF. “We designed the Unified Compliance Framework to provide a basis for GRC and technical security products to work together to help automate continuous governance compliance for any organization. We are just now seeing some early results with the market leverage of UCFinterchange. The UCF has many capabilities that have not been leveraged so far, and we look forward to working even more closely with our developer partners in the future.”

The Unified Compliance Framework provides both comprehensive content and structure within an industry-proven framework. It is the only solution to fully integrate critical legal and technical data, to meet the needs of both compliance officials and IT experts. Additionally, it is also the only solution that enables GRC and security solutions to communicate with each other effectively. The UCF was recently awarded a patent for the Unified Compliance Framework.
