The rebates range from $50 up $500 depending upon the duration of the lease and the monthly lease payment. “The process to obtain the rebate is quick and easy,” says McNabb. The first step is for the customer to select the apartment that they are interested in. When the customer visits the community, they need to write down on the guest card and rental application, that they were referred to the property by MainStreet Apartment Locators. Once the customer has signed their lease, they go back to the website and fill out an online rebate claim form that is found at http://www.txapartmentlocators.com/tx-apartment-rebate.cfm. Once the form is filed out, MainStreet Apartment Locators will follow up with the apartment community to collect the company’s referral commission, which the company is entitled to, since they are a licensed real estate company in Texas. Once MainStreet Apartment Locators is paid, the company cuts the customer listed on the lease their rebate check the next day!
The terms and conditions attached to the rebate program are straight forward with the biggest thing being that it is critical that the customer list MainStreet Apartment Locators as the company providing the referral to the community on the guest card and rental application, when first visiting the community. If this is not done, then the rebate cannot be paid, because MainStreet Apartment Locators will not receive a referral commission. In addition, the customer needs to fill out the online rebate form within 30 days of move in to be eligible for their rebate, as this is the only way that the company is aware that the customer has moved into their new home, as the apartment community does not notify MainStreet Apartment Locators that the customer has moved in.
