With the launch of Frost Technology's highly popular Unity2HTML5 Developer Partner Program, Frost announces the accompanying Kickstarter campaign to give all developers a chance to access and participate in the highly sought after Unity2HTML5 GDK beta.
"We continue to be inundated with thousands of requests to join the early beta program for Unity2HTML5 and as part of the effort to get this to the community, we have decided to open it right up with a Kickstarter campaign” said Brian Strachan, President of Frost Technologies. He continued: "We know this is a technology that is in great demand but as a small company we have limited resources to interface with everyone who wants to be directly involved. We feel this is the next best thing to do until we can staff up and are able to move the product to market faster.”
Publishers and Developers can put their Unity2HTML5 pledges in at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/frostio/frost-unity2html5-toolkit.
HTML5 game publishing is about to get supercharged with the combination of the high-performance development environment provided by Unity and the highly optimized cross device HTML5 engine by Frost. As it gets increasingly difficult to market games on traditional app stores, HTML5 is being seen as the next great platform in game discovery and deployment.
"Go make a pledge and show your commitment to HTML5 publishing" Strachan continued: "This Kickstarter Campaign is our way to get some great deals into the hands of devs anxious to help us crack this wide open and we look forward to leveraging it to get Unity2HTML5 built to everyone’s needs and expectations."
