VISTA’s Chairman Leads Panel at APA’s Annual Conference in April
McLean, VA (PRWEB) March 11, 2014 -- VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is pleased to announce that its Chairman, David Baxa, has been chosen by the American Planning Association (APA) to lead the panel on “Balancing the Federal Portfolio” for its National Conference on April 28, 2014 in Atlanta, GA. The panel will address how the footprints of Federal infrastructure changes over time, often requiring significant realignments of assets. Some locations expand, while others shrink or close. Mr. Baxa leads this particular panel based on his long-term expertise in understanding the balance between “right-sizing” the federal infrastructure and maintaining the prosperity of communities that depend on the presence of federal agencies in their localities.
Among the participants Mr. Baxa has assembled for this panel is a senior government official who is an expert in federal real property assets, a former senior Army official having direct responsibilities under previous multiple rounds of BRAC, a senior planning consultant with specialized expertise in federal real property planning, and a senior real estate consultant with extensive experience in civilian federal real property management.
