FLVS Global, a trusted provider of 6th to 12th grade online learning solutions, will host a free webinar offering tips and strategies on how to safeguard academic integrity in online courses. The webinar, which is aimed at teachers and administrators, is open to the public and will take place at 1 p.m. ET on Wed., April 9, 2014.

Florida Virtual School® (FLVS®) Academic Integrity Manager Angie Anastacio will lead the discussion on high-quality instruction and proven techniques and tools FLVS and FLVS Global School use to protect the integrity of its online courses.

The webinar on academic integrity is the second in a series of free webinars FLVS Global is offering. The series covers a variety of topics impacting online and blending learning. In the initial webinar, FLVS Teacher of the Year Shawn Wigg discussed strategies and experiences that have made FLVS a successful online education organization for more than 15 years.   • Best Practices in Hiring – Wednesday, July 16 at 2 p.m. ET: Aimed at administrators, this webinar will focus on best practices in recruiting and retaining a high-quality online work force.
  • Best Practices in Facilitating Collaboration in Online or Blended Environments – Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. ET: FLVS Global learning specialists will offer best practices and new tools for implementing successful student collaboration in online and blended learning models.
