Model-based Development in Mobility Engineering the Subject of New SAE International Webcast
Warrendale, Pa. (PRWEB) March 07, 2014 -- SAE International presents a free webcast that explores model-based development (MBD). Part of the Technical Webcast Series from the Editors of SAE International, “Efficient Model-Based Development,” will be held Thursday, April 24 at noon, EDT.
MBD is an efficient iterative process that allows engineers to improve quality and deliver on the demanding needs of product variants in the current competitive environment. However, the MBD process leads to the generation of large volumes of data artifacts and work products. To maintain efficiency while continuously improving the quality of products in the MBD paradigm, it is necessary to be able to manage this data in an effective manner that is supportive of the development process.
This free 60-minute webcast will examine the requirements for a model-based verification and validation environment and present data-management solutions that increase process efficiency. Webcast attendees will be invited to interact with the experts during a question-and-answer segment.
Speakers will include:
- Jace Allen, Lead Technical Specialist for Simulation and Test Systems, dSPACE Inc.
- Talus Park, Skill Team Leader, Calibration, AVL Powertrain Engineering Inc.
- Gavin Walker, Development Manager, MathWorks
Moderator will be Lisa Arrigo, Custom Electronic Products Editor, SAE International.
The webcast is hosted by SAE International and sponsored by dSPACE and SIEMENS. To find the start time in a different time zone, click here.
