Preccelerator Program begins its third class of companies in Santa Monica

Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP is pleased to announce the admission of a new group of companies to join the third class of its Preccelerator Program in Santa Monica. The Preccelerator is a novel platform offered to select start-up companies out of the Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP Santa Monica office that provides interim office space and access to sophisticated legal services, with the objective of helping start-ups grow their idea from business concept to funded startup.

The new participants include:

CardBlanc - a virtual debit card that unlocks an effortless and secure mobile shopping experience for kids 13 and up.

District2.Co - an online community established to service garment industry professionals who are dissatisfied with the sourcing and supply chain deficiencies in the fashion industry.

GoGet! - an App and Marketplace that helps Store Owners and Consumer Users make money by obtaining a marketing commitment from the Store Owner and giving money in small increments to loyal and new customers in exchange for sharing information.

Rally – creators of an automated kiosk network to rent battery packs to smart phone and tablet users. Rally is a convenient, low-cost and mobile way to charge your device that provides power when you need it, where you need it most.

Team(You), Inc. – a software tool that incentivizes students in classrooms and increases their engagement.

The Program has one additional company that is in stealth mode, and one company from the last Class that is continuing with the Preccelerator.

Program Director Ryan Azlein states “We are excited to have this new class of promising startups join our Preccelerator. The recent expansion of our Santa Monica office has allowed us to expand participation in the Preccelerator and enhance the facilities and programs.”

The Preccelerator Program was launched early in 2013 and has had great success with its first and second classes, which resulted in Fleck (fka Splash.io) being accepted into the Portland Incubator Experiment (P.I.E.) for their 12-week incubator program and 3Ten8 joining The Alchemist accelerator program in the Bay area.
