Stonebridge Companies’ DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Junction Housekeeping Floor Supervisor Selected as DoubleTree’s Spirit of CARE Award Winner
Grand Junction, CO (PRWEB) March 21, 2014 -- The DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Junction hotel is thrilled to announce that Hilton Worldwide has honored Andrea (Andy) Hartline, Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, with the company’s Spirit of CARE Award. This award designates Andy as a top performer within DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels. Nominated by their peers because of exemplary loyalty, attitude and service, the chosen team members continually exceed expectations of both customers and fellow team members. Less than one percent of all DoubleTree by Hilton team members nationwide receive this honor each year.
Andy Hartline was nominated for the award by her peers after proving to be an exceptional role model. “Andy continues to make outstanding contributions to guests and team members, showing great enthusiasm in all areas of her work at the hotel,” said Per Nilsson. “We are proud of her recognition as a Spirit of CARE award winner, the company’s most prestigious team member award. Employees like Andy create a welcoming and exceptional experience for guests, which impact other team members and create a domino effect of great service.”
Andy has represented the true Spirit of CARE since starting with the hotel in September 2012. She has played an active role in raising the SALT scores at the property, by mentoring her staff and empowering employees to be the best that they can be. She also made arrangements with the sales team and other staff members to donate food for two disadvantaged families of employees here to be sure they had food on their table and gifts under the tree during the Holidays this past year. Andy is also involved in events within the local community; she is an active board member of the Grand Junction Gold Prospectors Club, and enriches the community by doing volunteer work with local schools and park associations.
Doubletree by Hilton Hotels, which has 50,000 employees and more than 280 hotels worldwide, recognizes less than 100 employees a year with this honor. As a recipient of the award, she will receive a cash prize of $500 and other special recognition throughout their career with Hilton Worldwide.
