Four Cleis Press Titles Nominated for Lambda Literary Awards
(PRWEB) March 07, 2014 -- The Lambda Literary Association has chosen four Cleis Press books as finalists for the 26th annual Lambda Literary Awards. Laura Antoniou's The Killer Wore Leather is nominated for the category of lesbian mystery, and Best Lesbian Erotica 2014 and Wild Girls Wild Nights are both up for Lesbian Erotica. Richard Labonte's Show Offs rounds out the nominations for gay erotica.
The "Lammies," as they are affectionally termed, honor the best LGBT literature of the year, choosing finalists from categories including graphic novels, fiction, and anthologies. As a forerunner in quality LGBT titles, Cleis Press has a proud history of collecting nominations and awards from Lambda.
Cleis Press publishes provocative, intelligent books across genres. Whether literary fiction, human rights, mystery, romance, erotica, LGBTQ studies, sex guides, pulp fiction, or memoir, if it's outside the ordinary, it's Cleis Press.
The Lambda Literary Foundation nurtures, celebrates, and preserves LGBT literature through programs that honor excellence, promote visibility and encourage development of emerging writers.
