Portland, OR (PRWEB) March 09, 2014
Borrowing from the Hebrew symbol meaning “complete”, Portland Aquarium is poised to celebrate its next phase of remodels with a special 7-7-7-7 for guests. For the first time since opening, Portland Aquarium will be closed from March 10th-14th. On March 15, they will reopen and roll out several lucky specials to incent guests to come and ‘sea’ the fun additions. Below are the specials:
For seven days, guests can visit the dozens of exhibits the aquarium has to offer, including multitudes of warm and cold-water fish, sharks, stingrays, tropical birds, and a wide variety of exotic reptiles. The exhibits are interactive, allowing visitors to touch and experience the animals first hand. Guests enjoy having a Lorikeet on their finger as they feed it, feel the scales of an iguana, and touch a Northern Stingray as they slide by the edge of the touch tanks. Daily Talks are always a hit, where biology staff inspire and educate guests about reptiles, sharks, a wolf eel, and even an octopus.
The Aquarium plans to also celebrate by giving away a birthday party, a family annual pass, and a Sleep with the Sharks event for up to seven people via a daily drawing. Visitors need not be present to win.
Private Events are perhaps the biggest special, with up to 70% discounts. Any private 2014 or 2015 event booked before the end of the 7-7-7-7 promotion on March 21st will be only $700 for up to 350 people.
