Heritage New Homes Sell 59 Percent Faster In February

Sales of new homes in the community are picking up. With the opening of Heritage Enclave for presales, we expect to see this pace continue into the spring.

February new homes sales in the master-planned community of Heritage in Wake Forest and Rolesville, NC, marked milestones for the community. Most dominant is that new homes are selling 59 percent faster than last month and 17 percent faster than February of 2013. Last month homes spent an average of 59 days on market compared with 143 in January; last February saw 71 days on market.

Other key February sales indicators from the top selling Triangle community include a 100 percent list to sale price ratio that has sustained 12 consecutive months and a 3 percent increase in price per square foot.

“Sales of new homes in the community are picking up. Inventory is moving faster than it has for many months,” says Andy Ammons, president of Ammons Development Group, Heritage developer. “With the opening of Heritage Enclave for presales, we expect to see this pace continue into the spring.”
