With so many reasons for people to travel, the challenge for graphic designers is to capture it all in one powerful image. The challenge is even greater for Goway Travel, which since 1970 has been helping globetrotters find the perfect African safari, Australia vacation, or hike along the Inca Trail, plus trips to everywhere in between.

The company prides itself on offering unique trips that immerse travellers deep within the culture and distinctive character of each destination. Each of Goway’s 2014 brochures puts a face on that diversity, showcasing each of the company’s key regions – Downunder (Australia and New Zealand), Asia, Africa, Latin America and the World’s Most Idyllic Islands.

“The challenge was to convey in one image the essence of each destination. So I combined the elements of people, culture and iconic landmarks in one simple, yet detailed design,” says graphic designer Alejandro Torres. “The result was ‘The Faces of Goway.’ Each cover is a collage of many images surrounding a recognizable human face symbolizing the many beautiful and unique features of each region. In the end I tried to depict the knowledge, experience and uniqueness of Goway Travel.”

The company’s latest release is its Asia brochure, which reflects the endless colour and variety of the world’s largest continent. Beautiful wildlife, delicious cuisine, iconic architecture and friendly faces define Goway’s Asia tours, and a taste of these journeys can be found both within the brochure’s pages, and on its cover.

Goway introduced the new look late in 2013 with its new Africa brochure, which also encompasses the company’s Middle East product including Turkey, Jordan, the UAE and Israel.
