Red Smith Foods Signs On As Sponsor for Miss-I-Sippin' 2014, Pickled Sausage and Pickled Eggs to Be Part of Food Event
Oxford, MS (PRWEB) March 13, 2014 -- Red Smith Foods has joined the 6th annual Miss-I-Sippin' as a sponsor for the event to be held on April 3, 2014 from 7-9 PM at the Powerhouse in Oxford, MS. The event serves as a fundraiser for both the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and the University of Mississippi Hospitality Management Program.
As part of the event Red Smith Foods will be providing Big John's Red Hots pickled sausage and Big John's pickled eggs to be used in recipes for the events food and beer pairings. The company will be sponsoring a tasting station centered around pickled foods, which will showcase how food traditions are being rediscovered and becoming hot trends. There is a recipe contest for the chance to win tickets to the event as well. Tickets for the event can be purchased at Oxford Arts or at the Powerhouse in Oxford, MS.
