Interviews and appearances in the feature included Dr. James A. Hayward, CEO and President of Applied DNA Sciences; Janice Meraglia, Vice President of Government and Military Programs; Jennifer Karp, Forensic Scientist; and Larry McIntosh, Director, Security Sales.
The feature ends with this audio:
"Applied DNA works with the defense department marking microchips with the same plant-based DNA so intelligence officials know they're getting an original product from overseas and not one that has been tampered with.
"'Imagine if a missile is launched, and it's been programmed maliciously,' Meraglia said.
"And then there's the DNA fog system, called Smoke Cloak and widely used in Europe. When activated, it covers burglars, bank robbers or other sprayed recipients in Applied DNA's harmless plant DNA fog. The DNA stays on skin for days, and weapons and stolen goods for years.
"It's amazing what a little plant DNA can accomplish."
