There are thousands of people across the country each day who need to attend 2 to 5 hour meetings, but will lose almost 2 full days of work just to make that happen.

Day Flier announces the release of the first of its kind, door-to-door, rapid-booking solution for business travelers in the Houston and New Orleans markets.
Day Flier was created for successful professionals in high-density metropolitan areas who need to visit a regional location not served well by major airlines, and return home that same day.
For professionals, the use of aircraft in Day Flier’s network can turn two-day business trips into half-day excursions, thereby adding several hours of productive time that professionals can spend tending to other clients or relaxing with their family.
Through its network of air charter operators (who operate the flights), Day Flier has created an industry first by providing a door-to-door booking experience to find the best airplanes and airports for a business trip, and a rapid-booking experience that reduces what used to take several phone calls, emails, and hours down to only a few clicks and minutes.
The air charter operators in Day Flier’s network operate light aircraft such as the Cirrus SR22, Beech Baron, Beech King Air, or Very Light Jets such as an Embraer Phenom or Eclipse 500. Traditionally these operators are small and exist in a fragmented market. Day Flier consolidates their offerings into one easily-accessible national market.
Day Flier is now live in the Houston and New Orleans markets, and will soon be launching in several other high-density metropolitan areas.
“In the traditional high-end of the air charter industry, there are several established players who are very good at what they do. We are solving problems for a previously unaddressed middle tier of business travelers for whom a $2,000/hour jet ride is too expensive. However, these professionals are losing almost a whole day of travel behind the wheel of a car or on an airline layover, which is also too expensive in terms of lost productive time. There are thousands of people across the country each day who need to attend 2-5 hour meetings, but will lose almost 2 full days of work just to make that happen. We provide the solution,” said David Cusimano, President and Chief Evangelist of Day Flier.
While Day Flier’s current offering already has a more streamlined and transparent booking experience than any in the industry, in the second half of 2014, the company plans to launch its “instant-booking service”, which will also be the first such service in any tier of the air charter industry. Business professionals and their executive assistants will be able to book their regional trips to previously inaccessible locations as quickly as they can book an airline flight on major travel sites.
