The Ministry of Education, Ministry of Advanced Education, all colleges, universities, institutes, and 60 school districts in British Columbia have been clients of VFA for the past five years. Both Ministries recently completed a six-month, 180-degree evaluation of VFA’s software and services, as well as the delivery, resources, and all project components ranging from planning to reporting. The result was approval to continue with another five-year contract valued at more than $10 million. Under the terms of the agreement, VFA will conduct assessments to evaluate the condition of more than 1,800 educational facilities encompassing approximately 10 million square meters. Both sectors will continue to use VFA.facility®, North America’s leading facilities capital planning software. They will also use the facility self-assessment software VFA.auditor®, a patented, cloud-based solution that provides users with mobile surveys to rapidly collect and update facility condition data to ensure that plans and reports reflect the current status of the portfolio.
