My Second Home Pet Resort Commits to Raising Funds for Homeless Animals in Nashville and Beyond
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) March 11, 2014 -- Agape Animal Rescue is excited to announce a partnership with My Second Home Pet Resort that will result in more animals finding forever homes and fewer dogs euthanized in the Middle Tennessee community. My Second Home has recently made commitments to charities across the region, offering financial help and participation in pet related charities and events.
In 2013 the Pet Resort not only raised more than $15,000 in funds and supplies for the Agape, but also provided many dogs with a safe environment during transition to foster care at no cost. In 2014 they have stepped up to the plate again to support Agape through a giving campaign, continuous supply drives and free boarding, on site fundraising events, sponsorship and much more.
Chris Starko (pictured on the left of the picture to the side), Director of Marketing, was recently featured in the Nashville Paw Magazine stating, “We have made significant efforts to support animal welfare in Middle Tennessee. We believe that it is our duty to be a responsible corporate citizen by providing for the community. It is our hope that the greater Nashville area can become a beacon of hope for pets across the nation, and we want to be a part of that change. “
Together, Agape and My Second Home are preparing on site events such as Puppy Proms, the 2014 Dog Olympic Event, as well as a outdoor dog and car wash. Each event will benefit Agape via entrance donations. Company customers may also make donations on site, with both cash donation boxes available, as well as areas for items such as food, toys, and enclosures.
My Second Home is widely noted to be one of the premier pet facilities in the South. The pet resort provides cat and dog boarding, grooming, and dog daycare services. To date, the company has served over 30,000 families based in Franklin, Brentwood, Nashville and other cities across the region.
