Placement Rates for Gurnick Academy’s Ultrasound, MRI and Radiologic Technology Programs Remain Superior
San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) March 11, 2014 -- As reported to Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), for MRI Program the job placement rate for students who completed the program between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013 is 100%. For Ultrasound Program the job placement rate for students who completed the program during the same period of time is 100%. For Radiologic Technology Program the rate is 86%.

All three programs are Diagnostic Imaging, however they are many differences in length and admission requirements. The shortest program among the above mentioned is MRI program. The length is 52 weeks. MRI program is available at San Mateo and Modesto Campuses. Ultrasound Technology program is available only in San Mateo Campus and the length of the program is 78 weeks. One of the admission requirements for the Ultrasound Program is to possess a minimum of an Associate of Science Degree in an Allied Health field that is directed at human patient care or a minimum of Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in any field from an approved/accredited educational institution. Radiologic Technology Program is offered only at Concord Campus and normally lasts 96 weeks. One of the admission requirements is to possess a minimum of an Associate Degree in any field of study or have completed sufficient credits to have completed the Associate Degree by the end of the program.
