Mudpuppy’s Tub & Scrub has opened its newest location on Chestnut Street in the heart of San Francisco’s Marina district. This newest location will provide Marina dog owners with the Mudpuppy’s tradition of premium care and service for their canine and feline best friends.
Mudpuppy’s high standards include employing only certified groomers, and using only quality, all-natural shampoos, conditioners and supplements. In addition, their proprietary “walk-thru” tub system creates a cozy, safe space for bath time, and greatly reduces stress for dogs. “We’ve also installed radiant floor heating to assist in drying, and the pups love it!” says Miss Maya Moo, Director of Communications. “We’re always heart-warmed to see our four-legged customers dragging their parents into the shop, as opposed to the other way around! Pups actually like coming to Mudpuppy’s!”
Mudpuppy’s facilities are designed to be bright, fun environments for pups, as well as efficient and convenient locations for their parents. “We focus on individual appointments, as opposed to filling kennels with grooming clients who are then forced to stay in the shop for an entire day,” says Alex Gonzales, Manager of Mudpuppy’s on Chestnut. “This way, our customers are in and out in as little as 20 minutes, and their dogs leave happy.”
This is the company’s third facility, adding to their other popular locations: Castro Street in San Francisco, and the 23 acre, off-leash Point Isabel Dog Park in the East Bay. “We chose the Marina district for our newest location as it is a wildly popular destination for dogs and their parents, and there are plenty of fun spots to get muddy at, such as Crissy Field and the Marina Green,” continues Miss Moo. “We also saw a need for professional grooming services in the area. So far, the response has been tremendous, and the neighborhood has received us warmly and enthusiastically. We’re very happy to be here!”
