West Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) March 11, 2014 -- The Dream Builders Project is thrilled to announce their partnership with The Audrey Hepburn CARES Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles for their inaugural red carpet fundraiser, A Brighter Future For Children. A Brighter Future For Children will take place at the House of Music & Entertainment, better known as H.O.M.E in Beverly Hills.
From 8:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. charitable superstars will gather for a night of celebration and philanthropy. Open bar, gourmet food, desserts, live art, auctions, a celebrity poker tournament and live musical performances will be provided for our charitable guest list comprised of celebrities and influential Angelinos. Joshua Ledet, American Idol’s eleventh season contestant will be partaking in the musical performance portion of the event.
In 2013 The Dream Builders Project was established by CEO of Dahan Properties, Mayer Dahan. Through charity donations, community involvement events and fundraising initiatives, The DBP is committed to inspiring, innovating and implementing practices for a prosperous future. A Brighter Future For Children is an extension of The DBP’s efforts to engage the community while giving back in the process. Founder Mayer Dahan has sponsored the event in hopes of connecting the community and stimulating philanthropic involvement.
100% of the proceeds raised for A Brighter Future For Children will be given directly to The Audrey Hepburn CARES Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The Audrey Hepburn CARES Center extends services for suspected victims of child abuse and their families. Each year, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles provides more than 104,000 children with pediatric health care. Our fundraising initiatives for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles will make a positive impact on the fragile lives of children.
What’s almost as exciting as giving back to an amazing cause is the outstanding Host Committee members who have actively contributed to A Brighter Future For Children. Honorary “Godmother” of the Audrey Hepburn CARES Center Jennifer Love Hewitt, La Bamba’s Lou Diamond Phillips, Magic Mike's Adam Rodriguez, Vampire Diaries' Katerina Graham, Teen Wolf’s Jill Wagner, Deal Or No Deal’s Katie Cleary, Rich Kids of Beverly Hill’s Dorothy Wang, Sons of Anarchy’s Kristen Renton, True Blood’s Stephanie Erb and actor/writer Tom Malloy are few of many influential Host Committee members confirmed. Katie Cleary expresses her enthusiasm about her participation, “I am honored to be a part of such an amazing event for an important cause that will help so many Children at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles,” Katie Cleary.
The Dream Builders Project’s mission is to inspire the community, believing that art is the perfect outlet to do so, which is why local Los Angeles artists have been personally invited by The Dream Builders Project to perform live art at the event. Venice based abstract style artist Kelly Hogan and ocean-inspired artist Gretta Kruesi will be creating artwork to later be donated to the hospital.
Aside from the live art performances, the event will consist of Texas Hold’em poker tournaments. Poker coordinator and MC, Dale Wade Davis of Shameless will be traveling from Houston to Los Angeles to host the poker tournament. The celebrities will be competing against the sponsors and a surprise gift will be awarded to the winner provided by one of our generous sponsors. Additional items provided by our following charitable sponsors will be auctioned off: Earth Bar, Equinox, Caribbean Living Magazine, Dicker Fitzpatrick Financial and Insurance Services, TAGS, Pussy & Pooch, El Leon Spa, CVAC, Cryohealthcare, Fenix Cosmetics, O.P.I, John Allan’s of Beverly Hills, 1st Point Media Group, The Gents Closet, Date Nite Box and TOAST.
