Vail Film Festival Announces 2014 Film Line-up
Vail, CO (PRWEB) March 12, 2014 -- The 11th annual Vail Film Festival, taking place March 27 – 30, 2014, in, Vail, Colo., is pleased to announce the complete film line-up for the 2014 Vail Film Festival. The 2014 Festival will showcase 28 films, including 12 feature-length films and 16 short and student films. The films will screen at Four Seasons Resort Vail, host hotel for the 2014 Festival, and the Vail Mountain School.
This year the festival has a strong focus on first and second-time directors, showcasing the unique visions of a number of highly talented emerging filmmakers. Highlight screenings include Before I Disappear, the feature directorial debut of Shawn Christensen, whose short film Curfew won the 2013 Academy Award, to Oscar nominated screenwriter Steven Knight’s riveting film Locke, featuring a tour de force performance from actor Tom Hardy.
The Vail Film Festival officially opens on Thursday evening, March 27th, with the Opening Night Film and Party, followed by film screenings all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the Closing Night Film and Party on Saturday, March 29th. The festival also includes filmmaker panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and the hospitality lounge with complimentary Stella Artois beer.

A Birder’s Guide to Everything
