Salsa Labs, Inc. (Salsa), creator of the nonprofit platform to grow, engage and retain a base of online support, today announced they will host a larger, more inclusive annual conference, branded as FUSE2014. The event will take place over two days, August 6-7 at the Ernst Community Cultural Center, located on the Northern Virginia Community College campus in Annandale, Virginia. Online registration is now available at http://www.fusecon.org.

The revamped event, formerly known as the Salsa Community Conference, will offer nonprofit professionals the opportunity to learn the strategies and tactics that make for a successful online organizer, all while networking with like-minded peers on a mission to ignite action and fuel change. In keeping with the tradition of the Community Conference, Salsa users will still have the opportunity to receive technical training within the Salsa platform and interact with the expert staff and partners.

FUSE2014 will include keynote speakers, learning sessions, panel discussions, hands-on training, certification testing and more. Salsa invites members of the nonprofit community to share real world experiences and examples on topics including:

  •     Supporter engagement and nurturing
  •     Creating a “giving addiction”
  •     Email, social and mobile marketing
  •     Visual storytelling
  •     Measuring online marketing success
  •     Flaunting your successes
  •     And more

Speaking proposals should be submitted online. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2014.
