Livonia, Michigan based auctioneer, Kenny Lindsay was elected as the President of the 63 year old state trade organization, the Michigan Auctioneers Association.
“I greatly appreciate the trust my colleagues have placed in me during this important time for our profession,” said newly elected President, Kenny Lindsay. Lindsay elaborated that his priorities as president are to exceed the needs of the membership and to continue raising the bar for its practitioners in the Michigan auction industry and to introduce creative ideas to promote the efficiency of the auction industry. “I will ensure that our association continues to flourish and expand upon the foundation that our veterans have built over the past 60 years,” Lindsay said.

A nationally recognized businessman, professional auctioneer, appraiser and professional speaker, Lindsay has received numerous awards and accolades on the state and national level. This past July, he appeared on the world stage when he competed in the International Auctioneers Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Lindsay has worked seven years toward leadership in the organization. In previous years, he has been appointed as Chairman to several critical MAA committees including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Auctioneers Making A Difference charitable fundraising department of the association and the Public Promotions committee. In 2005, Lindsay was appointed to serve on the Presidential Advisory Committee for the National Auctioneers Association based in Overland Park, Kansas.
