Seventh Point Appoints Shellee Casiello to Their Transportation Public Relations Department
Virginia Beach, VA (PRWEB) March 26, 2014 -- Seventh Point announces the appointment of Shellee Casiello as the Public Affairs Specialist and a member of the Transportation Public Relations team. As a member of the Seventh Point team since the fall of 2013, Shellee plays a key role in all public relations projects and is key in the relationship with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). She works directly with the Vice President of Public Affairs, Mike Carosi.
Shellee functions as a liaison in contract with VDOT on the Elizabeth River Tunnels project, which consists of the rehabilitation of the midtown and downtown tunnels as well as the Martin Luther King extension. She will serve a vital public relations role communicating to the public and media for VDOT. With an extensive background in corporate communication and expertise in strategic planning and multichannel marketing, Shellee will fill an essential role in the Seventh Point Public Relations department.
A majority of Shellee’s professional public relations experience comes from her experience with higher education. Prior to joining the Seventh Point team, Shellee served as the Director of Corporate Communications for a family of career schools for seven years after coming on board initially as the Advertising Director.
Shellee, originally from Colorado, moved to the Hampton Roads area in 2002. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Colorado State University and is currently attending Old Dominion University in pursuit of her MBA.
