Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) March 18, 2014
Located in Columbus, Ohio, Panel Town & Floors is Central Ohio's largest flooring supplier of both unfinished and pre-finished hardwood floors. Panel Town recently added a special room to their flooring showroom, called The Character Room, to showcase their reclaimed wood flooring selection.
“Reclaimed wood floors are a hot trend in flooring right now. We opened The Character Room so that our Columbus, Ohio customers could not only see and compare different types of reclaimed wood flooring, but also feel what it's like to walk on the floors,” explains Homdi Soliman, General Manger of Panel Town & Floors. “The Character Room provides a true flooring test with side-by-side comparisons, making it easy for customers to find just what they are looking for at a price they can afford.”
Reclaimed, or engineered hardwood flooring is made out of wood from old barns, fencing and rafters. Every piece of wood is different because of the species of tree it is from and how it has been weathered, creating a unique appearance and feel. Because of its history, reclaimed wood floors have character and beauty that is not found in new hardwood. Using reclaimed wood flooring is also environmentally friendly because the wood is recycled and no new trees need to be used in the process.
The wood Panel Town & Floors uses for reclaimed wood flooring comes from old barns around Ohio. Whenever possible, pictures of the old barns are taken before being dismantled and used as reclaimed wood. “That way, customers will know the history and story behind their hardwood flooring,” says Soliman.
Columbus, Ohio homeowners and contractors are invited to take a virtual tour of The Character Room or visit the showroom in person at 1063 Dublin Road, Grandview, Ohio.
