USA Leaders Join OSAC Global Safety Discussion
ATLANTA, Ga. (PRWEB) March 12, 2014 -- This month, U.S. Security Associates (USA) representatives from around the world are traveling to conferences hosted by the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). OSAC was established to promote security cooperation between the U.S. Department of State and American private sector companies operating abroad. As a security company serving many clients with overseas operations and concerns, U.S. Security Associates has a vested interest in taking advantage of the forum OSAC provides for sharing best practices and developing tools to cope with evolving challenges and security-related issues abroad.
In March, D.C. Page, Senior Vice President of Consulting & Investigations (C&I), and Blanca Fernandez, Deputy Director of USA’s operations in Mexico, join OSAC members and constituents at the OSAC Latin America Regional Conference (LARC) in Miami, Florida. Based on extensive experience in Central and South American security climates, Page and Fernandez are participating in various discussions on Latin America security issues. Thomas Cseh, an OSAC member and Mexico Associate for the U.S. Embassy, is contributing his knowledge in several round-table discussions at the Regional OSAC/AmCham Guatemala Annual Conference for Corporate Security for Central America in Antigua, Guatemala. John Keeney, Managing Director of Business Intelligence and Research for the C&I Division, is attending the OSAC New York Forum on March 26.
As springboards for ongoing dialogue and effective communication between America’s public and private security elite, these OSAC conferences are an integral part of the success of the OSAC venture. OSAC constituents today number more than 4,700, including business owners, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, and other non-government entities.
As a senior executive and consultant with one of America’s largest global security consulting and investigations firms, D.C. Page recognizes that involvement with OSAC has been a critical component of the company’s success over the years. “We operate in over 100 countries worldwide conducting due diligence, business intelligence, licensee and vendor vetting, FCPA investigations, and international background checks. We provide on the ground travel assistance and protection in many world markets, particularly the emerging countries. Our involvement with OSAC allows us to utilize the wealth of information and resources available through organization to continuously expand our knowledge base.”
