Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 12, 2014
Actress and autism advocate Holly Robinson Peete will appear on Autism Live for a live, hour-long segment on Friday, March 14, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PDT, to discuss motherhood, the teen years, and the future of autism.
Peete has a 16-year-old son with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and will share her knowledge and experience that she has accumulated over the years. Viewers also have the chance to win two nabi tablets from Fuhu, Inc. Tablets are helpful for children with ASD, as they aid in teaching new skills; facilitate communication and data collection; and serve as a reward to reinforce desired behaviors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Holly back to the show to offer advice and answer questions for our viewers,” said Shannon Penrod, host of Autism Live.
“Being the parent of a child with autism, I know firsthand how important it is to have an advocate like Holly in our community.”
Autism Live is a popular web show for the autism community that provides information and resources to families living with autism and gives viewers the opportunity to ask questions live on the show. Penrod will speak to Peete about the future of autism, what she has learned being the mother to a teenage son with autism, news from the HollyRod Foundation, and cutting-edge technology to help individuals with ASD.
The hour-long segment airs live on Friday, March 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. PDT, on http://www.autism-live.com and will be available online thereafter. Viewers must tune in to the live show for details on how to win the two nabi tablets.
