MARCOA Publishing, LLC, the nation’s leader in niche publishing for nearly 50 years, has announced Todd Smith as its Vice President of Sales. With nearly 20 years of business development and management experience within multiple segments (the medical device and formulary industry as well as within the business internet, phone and data service sector), Smith will lead the company’s sales division in its strategic and day-to-day efforts.
Prior to his last engagement, Smith spent seven years with Dermacia, Inc. as Senior Vice President of business development spearheading initiatives with the management team to grow the market 350% in four years. Smith co-chaired the team that developed a multi-channel strategy for sales utilizing television, web and retail roll outs of product lines.

In addition to his work at Dermacia, Smith also served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Regeneca International, Inc. where he oversaw a growth in the customer base of over 800%, a ten-fold increase in sales volume, managed a nationwide sales team and witnessed sales employee growth of over 400% and assisted in the company’s IPO. Smith also holds a Juris Doctor in corporate law from Whittier Law School in Los Angeles, CA and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA.
Smith joins Martella, President Matt Benedict, Vice President of Operations Scott Ogan, Vice President of Sales Mike Shows, Vice President of Human Resources Kelsey Jones and Director of Information Technology Forrest Smith on the company’s executive team.
