Hailing from one of England’s most musically acclaimed families, Simon Townshend—younger brother of Pete—began his career at age nine when he recorded the backing vocals for The Who’s rock opera Tommy. He has toured with The Who as a guitarist and vocalist since 1996, playing sold out shows worldwide, including the 2010 Super Bowl and 2012 London Olympics.
Townshend’s latest solo album, Looking Out Looking In, was described by Guitar Magazine as “a cut above…melodic, edgy, and creative.” He will be releasing a new album, DENIAL, on April 1, 2014, on his own STIR Music label.

British folk revival artist Al Stewart is beloved for notable rock hits like “Time Passages” and “Year of the Cat.” He has released 25 records since he began playing guitar in his teens. In 1976 Stewart put forth his breakthrough album Year of the Cat, which featured two Top 20 hits: the album’s title song and “On the Border.” Sparks of Ancient Light, Stewart’s 2008 album, was praised by AllMusic.com for showcasing “what have always been Stewart’s principal strengths—pleasant haunting melodies, mellifluous vocals, accomplished folk guitar work, and literate, historical-minded lyrics.”
