"Leading Edge with Jimmy Johnson" has created several not-to-be-missed educational series for Public Television. The latest program announced is an informative interstitial that will discuss the very important topic of Firearm Safety.

Creative storytelling and the latest high-definition television technology are used to educate audiences regarding the importance of firearm safety. The program takes a non-judgmental approach to the use of guns and firearm safety. Experts explain the correct way to keep firearms in one's home. Measures for keeping firearms locked up and reasons for disabling the firing mechanism are explained.

Children will be taught to treat firearms with respect. The dangers of using firearms carelessly and thoughtlessly will be stressed, and the importance of firearm safety will be emphasized with an emphasis on new techniques and products being used to help curb unintentional gun discharges.

The series host, James William "Jimmy" Johnson, served as head football coach at Oklahoma State University, the University of Miami, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Miami Dolphins. Johnson has been an analyst on a network television NFL pregame show since 2013.

The series is distributed to Public Television stations throughout the United States and is not distributed through PBS. Please visit the Leading Edge website at http://www.leadingedgeseries.com or e-mail the producers at info(at)leadingedgeseries(dot)com for more information.
