Luke Bryan Tickets Verizon Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, MO: Ticket Down Slashes Prices on Luke Bryan Tickets at the Verizon Amphitheatre in St. Louis
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) March 13, 2014 -- Ticket Down announces that one of the biggest stars in country music is currently on the road with a tour that will run through the summer and will sell out venues around the country. Luke Bryan, the native of Leesburg, GA will take his “That’s My Kind of Night Tour” to many of the most popular venues in the United States and Canada including Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC; Soldier Field in Chicago, IL; Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA; and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, MO in the greater St. Louis area.
Bryan and his opening acts, Lee Brice and Cole Swindell, will be taking the tour to the St. Louis area on June 12 and June 13 for two shows, something that was needed after the initial show sold out so quickly. The Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre is a 20,000 capacity outdoor venue that features 7,000 seats that was constructed in the late 1980s, early 1990s and opened in 1991. The first show ever held at the venue was a concert by Steve Winwood and Bryan and company will be joining elite company that has included Guns N’ Roses and all-day festivals including Ozzfest, Lollapalooza, Mayhem Festival and more.
In country music, Bryan is considered royalty and he has only been around since 2007. His debut album, I’ll Stay Me, was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling more than 500,000 copies and peaked at the No. 2 spot on the American country album charts. In 2009, his second album, Doin’ My Thing was released and also stalled at the No. 2 spot. That album was certified platinum by the RIAA for selling more than a million copies. His 2011 and 2013 releases, Tailgates & Tanlines and Crash My Party both topped the country charts and the latter reached the top spot on the Billboard 100 album charts.
His opening acts on this tour are both well-known names in the country community. With the help of SiriusXM’s The Highway, Brice and Swindell both had remarkable 2013s. In 2012, Brice released his second album and with songs like “A Woman Like You,” “Hard to Love,” “I Drive Your Truck,” and “Parking Lot Party,” his popularity grew and the album was certified gold in 2013. In the case of “Hard to Love,” this was the first single released by Brice that reached the top of country singles charts and was his third single to reach more than a million sales.
Nobody in country music – sans Kacey Musgraves – had a better 2013 than Swindell. His breakout single “Chillin’ It,” was first played on The Highway as a “Highway Find,” which is a song that the fans would have heard first there. The song went from a find to something that fans around the country knew word for word and sang with the Georgia native when he opened last summer for Bryan. His debut album was just released in February and “Chillin’ It” has sold close to a million copies since its release.
