Military Mom Talk Radio provides a powerful platform for women to discuss their ideas, issues, and concerns with respect to the military lifestyle. Host Sanda Beck came up with the show idea in 2009 after a visit to Camp Pendleton exposed her to a group of women having trouble wrapping their head around PTSD. Beck, whose father was in the Navy and was an ROTC member at Northwestern University, felt she should create a forum for military mothers, wives, and daughters to openly discuss PTSD and other important topics. The show has grown in popularity and has gained a following of not only military family members, but veterans and active service members.
Make sure to tune in to Military Mom Talk Radio to hear Lt. Col. Shaye discuss the importance of yoga for military families, veterans, and active service members every Monday at 5 p.m. EST starting March 17, 2014. Military Mom Talk Radio is co-hosted by Sandra Beck and Robin Boyd and can be downloaded free from Itunes as well as live stream through its sponsor Toginet Radio.
