San Diego Area Students and Parents Invited to Attend Free Career Awareness Workshops and Recruitment Fair

WHAT: The AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) will host free medical career awareness workshops and a recruitment fair for college and high school students. The events will give students, parents, and other interested individuals the opportunity to meet and interact with representatives from more than 50 U.S. medical schools. Attendees can participate in information sessions on medical school preparation, admissions requirements, and the Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®).

WHO: Several medical schools, including:

  •     University of California, San Diego School of Medicine
  •     University of California, Davis School of Medicine
  •     Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine
  •     Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University
  •     Vanderbilt University School of Medicine

  •     University of Colorado School of Medicine
  •     University of Nevada School of Medicine
  •     Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine
  •     Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
  •     Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and other institutions
