Audience Generation Joins Austin B-cycle Fleet for South by South West

President and CEO, Matt Wayne, avid triathlete and cyclist, is excited to be able to contribute bikes and services to increase awareness of the Austin B-cycle program to the Austin community. Austin B-cycle is an on-demand bike share organization available to visitors and locals alike to ride around town enjoying what Austin has to offer in an eco-friendly and economical way.

Austin B-cycle’s first stations were available to the public on December 21, 2013 and offered a fleet of 110 bikes that featured such brands as Whole Foods, Austin Ventures, and Austin Chronicle to name a few. On March 1, 2014 the total reached 40 stations across the downtown Austin area. Whether you’re in town for SXSW, X Games, Austin City Limits, or just to enjoy everyday Austin, Austin B-cycle will keep you riding high.
Wayne believes, “visiting a City by bike is far superior to the experience by car and is a healthy way to view the many unique opportunities Austin offers. The ability to easily park your bike and commute from one great business community to another throughout the City amplifies the Austin experience and improves interactions with local businesses.”
With the bike stations conveniently placed at local hotspots and iconic destinations, this bike share program allows people the freedom to explore downtown Austin quickly and easily. Audience Generation has invited cyclists who ride their bike to post tweets about the local businesses they visit, so that they can share their experiences just like they share Austin B-cycle’s bikes.
