Louis Shanks & Tempur-Pedic Donate Mattresses to 21 Austin Area Fire Departments
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) March 17, 2014 -- Texas based furniture retailer Louis Shanks has teamed up with international mattress manufacturer Tempur-Pedic to provide more than 250 beds to area fire departments in Central Texas.
Ken Vogt, Vice President of Operations for Louis Shanks coordinated the project with the fire chiefs to deliver mattresses with a retail value upwards of $250,000. Vogt stated the chiefs are all ecstatic to be receiving the new beds, allowing them to focus more of their budgets directly to firefighting equipment and education. These firefighters and EMS personnel are the first responders to most vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, fire alarms and numerous other emergency situations.
