Attorney Brad T. Wyly Included in 2014 Texas Rising Stars℠ List
Houston, TX (PRWEB) March 14, 2014 -- Houston Car Accident Attorney Brad T. Wyly has been selected for inclusion in the 2014 Texas Rising Stars℠ list by Super Lawyers® Magazine. This marks fifth year that the lawyer has been granted this honor, as he was also selected for the years of 2013, 2012, 2007 and 2006, according to his online Super Lawyers® profile. As explained on the Super Lawyers® website, the Rising Stars℠ list serves the purpose of giving recognition the most exceptional lawyers in the state who are younger in age or who have more limited experience—particularly attorneys who are 40 or below, or those who have no more than 10 years of experience. Attorney Wyly is president and owner of Wyly & Cook, LLP.
Only a small percentage of lawyers make it onto the Rising Stars℠ list—only up to 2.5% in each state, according to the Super Lawyers® website. The select group of attorneys who are listed in Rising Stars are those who have been given the highest ratings after undergoing independent evaluation by Super Lawyers® as well as peer evaluation. The selection process used for this list is the same one used for the Super Lawyers® list, except that the Rising Stars℠ process also has the age and experience criteria. The 2014 listing of Texas Rising Stars℠ will be published in Texas Super Lawyers Magazine and in Texas Monthly magazine.
In addition to being included in this well-respected listing, Attorney Wyly has also been included in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, he has been named one of Houston’s “Top Lawyers” for the year of 2013 by Houstonia magazine, and he has been given a 10.0 Superb Rating of Avvo. Prior to founding Wyly & Cook, Attorney Wyly gained valuable experience in civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, while working at two other Texas law firms.
Attorney Wyly obtained his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he earned the Distinction of Chancellor for graduating as one of the top 10 students in his class. Mr. Wyly is admitted to practice law in the states of Texas and New York, as well as in the U.S. District Court’s Eastern District of Texas and Southern District of Texas.
