Edifecs Bolsters Corporate Leadership Team to Support Growth Initiatives and Industry Expansion
Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) April 14, 2014 -- Edifecs, a healthcare solutions provider specializing in information management and compliance technology, today announced the addition of two executives to its corporate leadership team. Joining the company are: Dave Arkley, chief financial officer and Michiel Walsteijn, executive vice president, International Business. Both Dave and Michiel are part of Edifecs’ Executive Committee and bring more than 45 years of experience to the successful corporate leadership team at Edifecs, further enabling the company to fast-track its next phase of strategic business development.
• Dave Arkley has more than 20 years of finance and technology experience and joins Edifecs from Parallels Inc., a global cloud and virtualization software company. As CFO at Parallels, he helped lead the company through a key period of growth and transformation, including driving strategic investments and partnerships with Fortune 100 technology companies. Prior to Parallels, Dave was CFO of Itron International and Itron North America, where he oversaw significant growth and business operations serving customers in more than 130 countries globally. Previously, as Itron’s vice president of mergers and acquisitions, he led the company’s $1.7 billion acquisition of Actaris Metering Systems. During his tenure at Itron, Dave helped grow the company from $300 million to more than $2 billion in revenue. Dave joined Itron with acquisition of Silicon Energy, a privately held energy software company, where he was vice president of finance. Prior to Silicon Energy, he was with OnDisplay Inc., through their IPO and subsequent $1.7 billion sale to Vignette Corporation.
• Michiel Walsteijn brings 26 years of IT experience to Edifecs, seven of those at Cap Gemini and 19 at Oracle. At Oracle, Michiel held multiple roles within the health insurance industry, including IT consultant, development manager, project manager, and sales and general manager of Oracle Health Insurance unit (OHI). Walsteijn also cofounded and became the head of the Netherlands OHI unit. He was integral in growing OHI as the Netherlands’ industry leader with a 45 percent market share, and bringing it to the global market in 2010 – at that time OHI entered the U.S. market with a health plan made up of more than one million members.
