Polar V800 Triathlon Watch Availability Mid-to-Late May Says HRWC
Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) March 15, 2014 -- V800 is the new triathlon watch from Polar and it looks like realistic availability will be mid-to-late May according to the Heart Rate Watch Company.
"A lot of people are very excited about this watch and we have few doubts that it will be one of the best triathlon watches ever," says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "Getting an advance order in early and being patient is your best course of action if you want one of these watches early."
Bluetooth Heart Rate and Bike Sensors
"Transmission reliability plus battery longevity make Bluetooth Smart a good choice for heart rate data, bike sensors and data transfer as GPS watches advance," says Squire. He adds, "Polar will be releasing a new Bluetooth cadence sensor and speed sensor to join the Polar H7 in providing the V800 with data."
Gorilla Glass = Tough Enough
Polar’s choice to include gorilla glass as the crystal for the new V800 is to be applauded says Squire. He adds, "This will make this the toughest GPS watch Polar has ever made and it will be waterproof to 50 meters with swim features included," says Squire.
Advanced Heart Rate Data, Power and More
"The Polar V800 will provide power based data from Bluetooth Smart compatible power meters and several manufacturers are coming out with Bluetooth Smart embedded this year," says Squire. He adds, "Serious cyclists can also use the Polar Look/Keo power pedals to see left/right power balance if they want even more advanced data."
Pricing
"The Polar V800 will retail for $449.99 without the heart rate and for $499.99 with the Polar H7 Bluetooth strap," says Squire.
