BlumShapiro Adds Christopher C. Della Valle as Tax Director at Newton Office
Newton, MA (PRWEB) March 24, 2014 -- BlumShapiro, the largest regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm based in New England with offices in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, has announced the addition of Christopher C. Della Valle to its tax practice.
As a director in BlumShapiro’s tax department, Mr. Della Valle will specialize in tax compliance and tax planning services for both corporations and high net worth individuals.
With more than 18 years of tax experience working with multinational corporations and national public accounting firms, Mr. Della Valle specializes in servicing clients in the biotechnology, manufacturing and retail industries.

Prior to joining BlumShapiro, Mr. Della Valle spent seven years as a director in the tax department at Covidien where he performed all aspects of the tax function, including tax compliance, tax accounting, tax audit defense and tax planning. In addition, he spent 11 years in public accounting at Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Della Valle received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University in Waltham and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
