Jerry Weissberg Joins Hondros Family of Companies as President

Columbus, OH (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 -- Hondros Family of Companies is pleased to announce that Jerry Weissberg will join the Hondros Family of Companies as President. Weissberg comes to the Hondros Family of Companies from Education to Go (ed2go), a unit of Cengage Learning, where he has been Vice President and General Manager since 2004. Weissberg’s initial responsibilities include overseeing many of the companies that are a part of the Hondros Family of Companies.

Prior to joining Hondros Family of Companies, Weissberg has been a senior executive with a proven track record of building and running profitable high growth online education businesses. In addition to spending 10 years at ed2go, he was the Vice President and Executive Director of John Wiley & Sons. Weissberg is an e-learning industry pioneer with over 17 years of hands-on management experience dedicated to IT Certification, paid subscription journal publishing, adult continuing education, workforce training and professional development.

Prior to his career in higher education publishing and online non-credit training, Weissberg was a program manager in the telecommunication and computer industry with project management responsibility for the development and implementation of large information systems, for both domestic and international customers. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology where he also received his MBA.
